About us in Costa Rica, because I wanted to change my life and realize my dream is Costa Rica. My idea was to change my life situation, less stress, also to calm down and get out of the constraints.

I left my hamster wheel and jumped into the hammock by the sea. I just wanted to be free. Less stench and noise and more nature and muse. And start making music again.

Common sense is only an accumulation of prejudices acquired up to the age of 18. Then it gets even worse, I say.
Everything just seemed Spanish to me.

I have also been to Brazil 3 times, but under Bolsonaro it is unbearable. The deforestation of the rainforest in Brazil is a puke.

Then I travelled around in Mexico and finally in Acapulco, for me not the yellow of the egg either. I often didn’t feel free and safe.

After that I had a trip to Venezuela on the plan. On Isla Magarita I was robbed twice by the police.

But when I came to Costa Rica, I felt right at home. It was like paradise and everything seemed easier to me. My belly shouted out loud: here you shall stay and live.

Here I met other dream dancers like Markus. Also Klaus from the hotel without window was already at Playa Buena Vista Samara.

About us and the coolest country 

The Hotel Paraiso del Cocodrilo in Costa Rica Samara has been offering a Job and  internship Costa Rica for several years. It is a familiar, individual hotel in Costa Rica, Guanacaste, 7 km north of Samara, located 300 m from the turtle beach Buena Vista, where daily young turtles crawl the first time into Water.

My Internship Experience 

As a student, I find an internship abroad the best way to discover a country cheap and authentic . While searching for a suitable accommodation in Costa Rica, I came across the Paraiso de Cocodrilo Lodge and was immediately thrilled. By communicating directly with the hotel, one can avoid the costs of agencies that offer internships at the hotel.

In addition, one can stay in contact with the owner from the beginning a and thus plan the stay quickly and easily. We also discussed the diverse activities that range from service to online marketing. I have had Costa Rica on my bucket list for a long time because it combines diverse, beautiful nature and a colorful culture. Interning in Costa Rica is a great way for young people to feel authentic.

In January, after a few phone calls, I received the final confirmation that I could start in March. The flights were booked quickly. Since I still wanted to leave the duration of my stay open, I opted for a one-way ticket. Another big advantage of the internship in the jungle lodge is the possibility to be flexible.

I didn’t pack my backpack until the day before the flight and decided to pack relatively light. The first flight to Spain took off from Berlin and then continued to San Josè, the capital. The arrival went unexpectedly without any problems. Every flight was on time, immigration took only five minutes and my luggage was not lost.

My goal was to spend one night in San Josè and take the public bus to Samara the following day. But together with the cab driver who was supposed to take me to the hostel, I decide to go directly to the hotel on the Pacific coast.

The trip by car takes about five hours, while the trip by bus a many more stops probably takes eight hours. After a busy day, I finally reached my destination late in the evening and was greeted by Rainer. My room has a private bathroom, a comfortable bed, a closet and a desk, which provides everything I need. The property offers a real atmosphere of the jungle and the large pool makes the beautiful hotel perfect.It is a place to be! Have a unique internship in Costa Rica, learn the language and gain experience.

Making yourself happy again in Costa Rica is the biggest comeback.
